Origin of Excelium Bordeaux Supérieur
This red Bordeaux Supérieur is stemming from a selection of the best plots of different wineries of the Union de Guyenne. Very high level specification governs plot selections. Only best terroir and best cuvee have the privilege of being selected. Our oenologists thoroughly elaborate the final blend which results in an outstanding wine.
Blend: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon
Traditional vinification followed by a 3 weeks maceration.
Aged in oak barrels for 12 months.
A gourmand bouquet of black fruit, nut, with hazelnut notes, coffee, and smoked aromas. The palate is well-bodied, full in the mouth, concentrated, with mellow tannins. You may appreciate black ripe fruit and hazelnut coffee flavours. The final is long with high persistence of aromas.
